***2016 AFTJ Bento Contest***
The Association of Florida Teachers of Japanese (AFTJ) will hold a bento contest in fall. The traditional dietary cultures of the Japanese (what we call Washoku in Japanese) was inscribed in 2013 on the UNESCO’s List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The purpose of this bento contest is to enjoy and cherish Japan’s cute and cool food culture. We are looking for photos of cute and creative bento decorated in a food container. The 1st and 2nd winners will be awarded with prizes.

Registration Due: 5:00 pm (Eastern Time), Friday, September 23
Bento Photos Submission Due: 5:00 pm (Eastern Time), Friday, October 14
